Job Summary
Account Manager will have seven to ten plus years track record of achievement in corporate sales selling to senior leadership. Will present Situational Leadership® solutions to senior executives and line leadership within targeted accounts, will build mutually beneficial business relationships, make compelling presentations, and close business. This is a largely independent field sales role for an executive with a high degree of business acumen.

The right candidates will acquire expertise on Situational Leadership® offerings to organizations, including all tools, work sessions, training components and services in our product line.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as key initiator of new business development to target large-sized accounts for long-term and strategic penetration
  • Independently calls on senior-level executives and other representatives to generate product, program, and consulting sales opportunities
  • Diagnoses and assesses client needs; prescribes, designs, and implements strategic interventions using the full range of existing or custom Situational Leadership® content, products, and/or programs
  • Presents and provides individual client consultations in context with overall intervention strategy as needed
  • Writes and oversees effective business proposals
  • Closes business consistently within the Situational Leadership® guidelines developed for product and services mix and pricing
  • Consults with clients to design custom programs and tailors standard programs to meet individual client needs
  • Designs account strategy and business development for new and existing accounts
  • Develops and executes on territory marketing and management plan to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets

Requirements

    • Seven to ten plus years’ experience in corporate sales, preferably in a professional services complex sales environment selling to Fortune 5,000 companies
    • BA/BS in business or related field or equivalent experience required
    • Stable work history and track record of personal sales performance in a large corporate environment is essential
    • Consulting sales background and demonstrated skills in the core areas of building solid pipelines:
      • Working a forecast
      • Aggressively prospecting
      • Efficiently driving opportunities to closure

  • Exhibits excellent personal maturity and character
  • Well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to success in this role
  • Proven track record in sales in conceptual business solutions
  • Proven ability to sell intangibles
  • Ability to quickly and accurately assess clients’ needs and develop innovative solutions
  • Able to take initiative, manage ambiguity, and learn quickly
  • Very strong verbal and written communications skills are essential
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling, polished sales presentations to both line leadership and senior corporate executives within target companies
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Word®, Outlook®, PowerPoint®, Excel®
  • Familiarity with salesforce.com
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively to accomplish work
  • Strong internal and external client service orientation
  • Willingness to pitch in wherever necessary

Job Summary
Primarily responsible for providing positive, effective and proactive customer service by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. Complete all necessary work to ensure the customer receives the best service(s) and/or information requested in a timely fashion. This position performs a variety of customer service related duties. This position will perform many but not necessarily all the essential job duties and responsibilities outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Access, maintain and update salesforce.com customer and prospect database.
  • Carry out direct marketing activities (principally making outgoing soft sales calls or emails to current and  potential customers) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries by post, internet, and telephone in order to expedite customer orders.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, place customer orders and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
  • Provide necessary follow-up and initiate correspondence when necessary.
  • Resolve customer complaints, returns, shortages and adjustments.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information as directed.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company departments as necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
  • Prepare quotations for products and services under company program guidelines.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
